Meet Jami

For more than three decades, Jami L. Anson has been bringing people together — across communities, cultures, continents and causes. Whether she is producing a festival for 26,000 guests, designing a global exhibition, or creating a quiet, meaningful moment at a donor gathering, her work has always centered on the same philosophy: people remember how you make them feel.
Jami’s story begins in the Hudson Valley, where her love of art, history, nature, and community took root. What started as an early passion for photography and design grew into a lifelong career a the intersection of creativity and service. She spent more than 35+ years building experiences, strengthening not-for-profits, elevating missions, and crafting stories that connect people to something greater than themselves. Her career path is anything but linear — because she followed opportunities
to make an impact, not a title.
Jami Anson has:
• Led large-scale events for one
of New York’s most visited parks,
Walkway Over the Hudson, welcoming
hundreds of thousands of guests annually.
• Managed global programs and creative
campaigns for a United Nations NGO,
collaborating with figures such as Jane
Goodall and Pete Seeger.
• Directed national publications,
photography, and media partnerships
for the U.S. Chess Federation.
• Grown development programs, donor
pipelines, and outreach strategies
for multiple Hudson Valley nonprofits.
• Built a design firm known for its thoughtful
branding, storytelling, and multimedia work
for authors, publishers, businesses and
community organizations.
No matter the role, her approach has remained the same: lead with heart, think strategically, design with purpose and elevate every experience — whether for one person or twenty-six thousand.
Jami is also an award-winning, published photographer whose work has appeared in The New York Times, Time, People, the Washington Post and other national outlets. Her images, like her events, are rooted in authenticity, detail, and a deep appreciation for the human experience.
Today, Jami continues to champion mission-driven work, community engagement and creative excellence throughout the Hudson Valley and beyond. She serves on local nonprofit boards, upports historical and preservation initiatives and lends her expertise to organizations that are shaping the region’s future.
At her core, she is a connector — a builder of experiences, relationships and stories that endure. And whether she is standing behind a camera, designing a brand, coordinating agencies for a multi-day festival, or guiding a nonprofit through
Its next phase of growth, Jami brings the same unwavering commitment: Create something meaningful. Make people
