In 2015, a Peace Pole Dedication was held in partnership with Edible Arrangements of Poughkeepsie, owned by Aislinn Smith, as part of the company’s 10-year anniversary celebration and a broader commitment to community outreach and peace. Organized by Jami L. Anson, the event brought together local politicians, three Chambers of Commerce, two radio stations, and community members for a day of unity, fundraising, and celebration, featuring interactive elements such as a dunk tank, game booths, and local vendors. In Ms. Smith’s opinion, Ms. Anson is a leader with unparalleled energy, creativity, and drive, whose experience and passion for community development are an extraordinary asset to any organization. Having worked with Jami in multiple capacities across the Ulster and Dutchess communities, Ms. Smith notes Jami’s remarkable ability to connect people through her extensive network of local business owners, civic leaders, and elected officials, as well as her genuine care for everyone she meets.

Ms. Smith further credits Jami’s exceptional talent for designing and executing memorable events, describing the Peace Pole Dedication and anniversary celebration as the most successful event in Edible Arrangements franchise history.
