Walkway at Night offers visitors a unique after-dark experience on the Walkway Over the Hudson, guided by the rhythm of the full moon. Our team managed guest flow and information tables throughout the evening as visitors gathered at the center of the bridge to engage with astronomers and explore the night sky.

These evenings are part of the tradition from when the bridge first opened—one of the many beloved programs brought to life by dedicated Ambassadors who create and share historic education and inspiring conversations. These night experiences invite visitors to slow down, learn, and form a deeper connection to the bridge and the Hudson Valley.

Whether listening to stories from the past, participating in hands-on learning, or asking questions along the way, Walkway programs transform a simple walk into a moment of discovery. I was fortunate to occasionally assist with these events and capture photographs that preserve the curiosity, connection, and sense of wonder that make these nights so memorable.
