Each October, we celebrate the anniversary of Walkway Over the Hudson’s grand opening and the millions of connections made high atop the Hudson River since 2009. Starry, Starry Night is a magical evening celebrating the bounty of the Hudson Valley and highlighting the profound impact of Friends of the Walkway on our region.
As Director of Events & Corporate Relations, I provided support as needed for this signature event, working closely with Event Team Leader Diane Haight (Deputy Director/Development). Together, we assisted with the design and production of banners, signs, and other event materials, coordinated sponsor contacts, curated auction items and centerpieces, managed vendor details, and oversaw setup and breakdown. This collaborative effort ensured an elegant, seamless, and memorable evening for all attendees while reinforcing community engagement and support for Walkway Over the Hudson.
