SkyRide – Walkway Over the Hudson | Director of Events & Corporate Relations
As Director of Events & Corporate Relations, I helped lead SkyRide, a milestone event nearly six years in the making held in August of 2019 ~ bringing together over 1,000+ motorcyclists from across the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic to process across the iconic Walkway Over the Hudson on August 24. This signature event marked the official kickoff of Walkway’s 10-year anniversary celebrations and raised critical funds to enhance accessibility for veterans, senior citizens, and visitors with mobility challenges.

Through extensive collaboration with New York State Parks, New York State Bridge Authority, local law enforcement, sponsors, and community partners, motorcyclists, vendors and ambassadors ~ I oversaw planning, logistics, promotion, and day-of coordination to ensure a safe, memorable, and seamless experience for all participants. Proceeds from SkyRide supported the addition of an electric tram for assisted access across the bridge, the acquisition of wheelchairs for daily visitor use, and new transport options to improve accessibility during special events—making the breathtaking Hudson River views available to everyone.
