As Director of Events & Corporate Relations, I led the planning and execution of one of the Hudson Valley’s most iconic Independence Day celebrations (July 4th Spectacular), drawing tens of thousands of visitors to Walkway Over the Hudson over the years.
This large-scale, high-profile event required extensive coordination and long-term planning to ensure a safe, memorable, and seamlessly run experience for the community. I oversaw all aspects of the production, including corporate partnerships and sponsorships, permitting and regulatory coordination, staffing management, site setup and breakdown, marketing and promotion, and on-site leadership throughout the event day. Working closely with the Walkway Team along with with municipal partners, emergency services, vendors, and internal teams, I ensured the July 4th Spectacular reflected the Walkway’s mission while delivering a world-class celebration that brought the region together.
Through close collaboration with sponsors, community partners, and internal teams, I ensured a seamless, safe, and engaging experience for thousands of attendees, elevating the event’s visibility while fostering strong community connections and memorable moments for participants.
