As Director of Events & Corporate Relations, I led the planning and execution of Illuminate the Night in 2020, a signature illuminated evening at Walkway Over the Hudson that followed a moving Memorial Day Flag Ceremony and unfolded beneath a stunning Hudson Valley sunset. This high-visibility event required thoughtful coordination and adaptive planning during an unprecedented year, ensuring a safe, meaningful, and seamlessly delivered experience for the community. I oversaw all aspects of production, including corporate partnerships and sponsorships, permitting and regulatory coordination, health and safety planning, staffing and logistics, marketing and promotion, and on-site leadership, working closely with the Walkway team, municipal partners, emergency services, vendors, and internal staff to deliver a visually striking and mission-driven event that fostered connection, reflection, and community pride.
