Dinner on the Walkway - Starry Night Raffle Winner Annually
Director of Events assists design of materials - set up and breakdown
As part of the annual Starry, Starry Night Gala, I worked with the Director Development/Deputy Director on some of the winning dinner raffle auction events. Once a year this dinner is given away at Starry, Starry, Starry Night and it is a once in a lifetime experience of a private Dinner for Eight set at the center of the Walkway at sunset, an unforgettable dining event catered each year by Lola’s Restaurant.
In my role as Director of Events, I would assist the Deputy Director on aspects needed for this exclusive experience, from planning and coordination to hands-on setup, breakdown, and on-site management (as needed).
As a team ~ this included working closely with the catering team, managing permitting, logistics and timing, and ensuring a seamless and elevated guest experience in a uniquely stunning setting. The dinner not only served as an after highlight of the gala ~ but also strengthened donor engagement by offering an intimate, memorable moment that showcased the Walkway’s beauty while supporting its mission. I was honored to work with a great team to have this accomplished each year.
