Friends of the Walkway Annual Golf Classic | Director of Events & Corporate Relations
As Director of Events & Corporate Relations, I led the planning and execution of the Annual Friends of the Walkway Annual Golf Classic at Apple Greens Golf Course in Highland, New York. This 18-hole scramble tournament offers participants stunning views of the Shawangunk Mountains, classic competitions such as longest drive and closest-to-the-pin, continental breakfast, and a light lunch on the course.
I oversaw every aspect of the event, including corporate partnerships, sponsorships, foursomes, vendors, logistics, staffing, promotion, and day-of coordination, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience. The day concludes with a post-round open bar happy hour, tournament awards, an exciting raffle, and other surprises, creating a fun, engaging, and memorable experience for all attendees while supporting the mission of Friends of the Walkway.
