Jami Anson has played a pivotal role in shaping major U.S. Chess Federation events and publications at the national and international level, working closely with World Champions such as Garry Kasparov, Anatoly Karpov, Susan Polgar, Judit Polgar, and many others. From 1987 to 2003, Jami served as Senior Art Director and Director of Publications (International) for the US Chess Federation, overseeing the creative direction of flagship publications including Chess Life (120,000 circulation), the US Chess Catalog (250,000 circulation), and Schoolmates Magazine (72,000 circulation). Jami was honored with the prestigious International Cramer Award for Chess Photography in Journalism.
