Jami Anson played a key role in the creative production and design of chess books distributed and sold worldwide, overseeing the typesetting, design, and full creative production process for titles that became enduring classics in the chess community.
Working closely with renowned authors and contributors such as Al Lawrence, International Grandmaster Lev Alburt, Sam Palatnik, World Champion Garry Kasparov, Frank Elley, and Peter Kurzdorfer, Jami helped translate complex chess ideas into accessible, visually compelling publications. Her work also extended to collaborations with major publishing partners including Disney Publications, Sterling Publishing, Barnes & Noble, The New York Times Publications, and others. From layout and typography to print coordination, each book was carefully crafted to meet both educational and commercial standards, resulting in best-selling titles that continue to be sold and enjoyed by players around the world today.
