The Clintondale Fire Department in New York holds deep personal and historical significance for the Anson family, whose involvement has spanned generations. Jami’s mother, Shirley V. Anson, made history as the second woman firefighter allowed in Ulster County, NY, and later served as the department’s historian. In that role, Shirley worked closely with her daughter Jami and JA Design on anniversary planning and commemorative books, including the 75th Anniversary book, which has since become a sought-after collectible. As the department approaches its 100th Anniversary in 2026, Jami and JA Design are once again contributing to the celebration, with the next commemorative book and anniversary events currently in progress.
