Dorcas Roehrs founded Barber’s Farm Distillery alongside her nephews, Elias and Ford Barber, continuing a deep family legacy rooted in Schoharie Valley, where the Barber family first purchased the land in 1857. Operating under the name 1857 Spirits, the distillery is dedicated to producing farm-based potato vodka made from potatoes grown directly on the family farm. The award winning vodka is already noted for its smooth finish and beautifully subtle sweetness. JA Design assisted with the creative design and production of the distillery’s website, label design, fliers, ads, photography, and event support, as well as involvement with the Schoharie Wine Trail.
