Date
Through the Years
Location
Plattekill, NY
The Plattekill Historical Society is dedicated to preserving and sharing the rich history of the region, with the restoration of the historic Plattekill Grange standing as one of its most significant achievements. The Grange now serves as a vibrant historical center, filled with thoughtfully curated displays that bring local stories to life, and features a beautifully restored theater on the upper level for programs and community events. Through its ongoing work, the Society plays an essential role in safeguarding the heritage of Clintondale, Ardonia, Modena, Plattekill, New Hurley, Gardiner, New Paltz, Highland, and Wallkill, ensuring that the history of these communities is preserved for future generations.
Restoration is in progress of the whole building.
