I have proudly served as a volunteer Board member working in partnership with the Hudson Valley Rail Trail, supporting its mission to create, maintain, and promote a safe, accessible trail system that connects communities throughout the Hudson Valley. In collaboration with the Rail Trail organization and the Walkway Over the Hudson, our Board strengthened communication and coordination between the two entities to enhance public engagement and the overall visitor experience.
As a volunteer Board member, I executed design and production work as requested, contributing creative design, photography, website development, and promotional materials that helped clearly and visually communicate the Rail Trail’s impact and long-term vision. As a Board team, we also provided event support and on-site coordination, ensuring programs and community events were welcoming, well organized, and successful. Through this collective work, we reinforced the Rail Trail’s role as a vital recreational, environmental, and economic asset for the region.
