People’s Place is dedicated to strengthening our community by supporting individuals and families through compassionate services, education, and resources that foster stability and hope. That mission came to life through Local Honey, a spectacular farm-to-table fundraiser that celebrated connection, generosity, and local abundance. Josh Lucas, Board Member, was a driving force behind the event, working closely with Christine Hein and Heidi Haddard to bring the vision to fruition with creativity and care. Their leadership resulted in an unforgettable experience, beautifully supported by Jami Anson, whose contributions spanned photography, vendor coordination, and hands-on assistance with set-up and breakdown. Together, their efforts created an event that not only delighted attendees but also meaningfully advanced the work of People’s Place.
