The Kentucky Derby Event at Ol’ Savannah, hosted by Peoples Place, was a wonderful and lively celebration that proved to be a huge success, bringing the community together in true Derby style. Guests donned their finest hats while community companies and individuals were honored for their continued support of Peoples Place and its mission. Live projection screens added excitement throughout the evening, allowing guests to take part in live horse bidding, auctions, contests, and more, creating an engaging and immersive experience. Bravo to Executive Director Christine Hein and her dedicated team, with special recognition to Deputy Director Heidi Haddard, whose design vision truly made the event come alive, and to Jami Anson for designing the event program and capturing the night through professional photography.
