The Always There Annual Gala was developed and managed as a signature fundraising event, beginning with An Evening in Tuscany and evolving into an interactive, guest-driven experience. To spark participation and excitement, JA Design created a social voting contest that invited guests and the broader community to select the country that would inspire the event each year. The chosen destination then guided every aspect of the evening—from décor and branding to cuisine, entertainment, and ambiance—resulting in a fully immersive cultural experience that strengthened engagement, increased attendance, and deepened community connection year after year.

This year’s An Evening in Madrid transported honorees and guests to the heart of Spain, capturing the passion, warmth, and energy of the Spanish capital. The venue was transformed into a lively Madrid streetscape, featuring elegant auction spaces, tapas-style café settings, and rich, vibrant décor inspired by historic plazas and colorful tiled courtyards. Guests enjoyed a Spanish-inspired menu bursting with bold flavors, while mesmerizing flamenco dancers and live performances filled the evening with rhythm and drama. From the spirited entertainment to the intricate design details, every element celebrated Spanish culture, creating an unforgettable experience that energized attendees and elevated the spirit of the gala.
