The Kingston Kiwanis Kapers is a long-running, much-loved community tradition in Kingston, NY, bringing together humor, music, and local talent in a lively variety show that raises funds for charitable causes. Produced and performed by members of the Kingston Kiwanis Club and community volunteers, the Kapers combines comedy sketches, songs, and playful commentary on local life, making it both entertaining and uniquely hometown-focused. Proceeds from the event support Kiwanis programs that benefit children, families, and community organizations throughout the Kingston area, making the Kiwanis Kapers not only a night of laughter, but also a meaningful fundraiser with lasting local impact.
Jami being a former member of the Kiwanis - was involved in a few of the shows - but mainly took over the design of each year's event programs - designing the entire book including several ads and along with compiling with the team the final type needed and the cover. Then was the photographer for the shows.
